They say it’s hard to break a habit.
Well, it really ain’t. Not a good habit, at least.
I had been working out for over a year. Then the apocalypse happened, gyms closed I needed two weeks to go back to not exercising.
I used to wake up at 5:30 in the morning, so I was used to going to bed early. I loved it. Went to bed late twice and it all went south.
I also spent 2 months not working after 4 p.m. My favorite habit. But I pushed myself to write until 8:00 p.m. a few times and now it feels as if I never had the habit.
Precedents are a powerful thing. I need a strategy for going back on track.
